How We Handle Website Information

Crosstown Roofing ("Crosstown Roofing," "we," "us" or "our") respects the privacy of people who visit our website, request an estimate, contact us or use our online tools. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we may collect, the purposes for which we may use it and the circumstances in which it may be disclosed.

By using the website, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. This policy does not replace any separate notice or consent language presented at the point where information is collected.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Crosstown Roofing website, website contact forms, the online roof estimate experience and communications that begin through the website. It also applies when you contact us using a phone number or email address displayed on the site.

It does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party websites, applications or services that we do not own or operate. Those services may provide their own privacy notices and choices.

2. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on how you use the website.

Contact & Inquiry Information

Name, email address, telephone number, property address or location, preferred contact method, service requested and the details included in your message.

Roof & Property Information

Property type, roof or project details, conditions you report, estimate selections and other information needed to understand the roofing request.

Communication Information

Information contained in emails, form submissions, calls or text messages, along with the date, time and contact details connected to the communication.

Website & Device Information

Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, interactions, timestamps and cookie or similar identifiers.

Information From Other Sources

We and our service providers may receive information from referral sources, public records, property databases, measurement or mapping services and other commercially available sources. For example, an online roof estimate may use property data to help identify the structure and develop a preliminary planning range.

Do Not Submit Sensitive Information

General website forms are not designed for sensitive personal information. Do not include Social Security numbers, financial account credentials, payment-card numbers, medical information, government identification or complete insurance-policy numbers unless we provide a secure method and specifically request that information.

3. How We Use It

We may use information collected through the website to:

  • Respond to questions, estimate requests and service inquiries.
  • Review property and roofing information and determine the appropriate next step.
  • Schedule inspections, appointments or project-related communications.
  • Prepare, discuss and administer estimates, proposals or requested roofing services.
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure and improve the website and its forms.
  • Measure website performance and understand how visitors use the site.
  • Maintain business records, prevent fraud or misuse and enforce applicable terms.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
  • Send follow-up or marketing communications when permitted by law and consistent with the choices provided to you.

4. Cookies & Tracking

The website and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, scripts and similar technologies. These technologies can help pages function, remember preferences, measure traffic, protect forms and support advertising or remarketing when those tools are enabled.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie preference controls displayed on the website. Blocking some technologies may affect how certain forms, maps or embedded tools function. Browser settings and privacy controls vary by provider.

5. When We Share It

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Website and hosting providers: to host, secure, maintain and support the website.
  • Estimate and form providers: to operate the online estimator and process submitted inquiries.
  • Business-service providers: such as customer relationship management, email, telephone, text-message, scheduling, call-tracking, analytics and advertising providers, when those services are used.
  • Professional advisers: such as attorneys, accountants, insurers or consultants when reasonably necessary for their services.
  • Legal and safety purposes: when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users or the public.
  • Business changes: in connection with a merger, financing, sale, reorganization or transfer of all or part of the business.
  • With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or authorize a specific disclosure.

Service providers may receive only the information reasonably needed to perform the function for which they are engaged. Their handling of information may also be governed by their own contracts, policies and legal obligations.

Some state privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly and may treat certain advertising or analytics disclosures differently from an ordinary service-provider disclosure. Where an applicable law gives you an opt-out right, you may submit a request using the contact information below.

6. Online Estimate Tool

The online roof estimate experience is powered by QuickQuote, a service provided by Aletheia Digital Technologies, LLC. When you use that tool, QuickQuote may collect information directly from you, including contact details, a property address, roof or project information, estimate selections and technical data associated with the session.

QuickQuote may combine information you provide with property, measurement, public-record or commercially available data to generate a preliminary estimate. Information submitted through the tool may be provided to Crosstown Roofing so we can respond to the request, discuss the estimate and determine whether an inspection or another next step is appropriate.

QuickQuote's own privacy policy also applies to information it collects and processes through the estimator.

Read the QuickQuote Privacy Policy

7. Calls, Email & Texts

When you submit an inquiry, we may respond using the contact method you provide, including telephone or email. Service-related messages may include responses to your questions, appointment information, estimate follow-up or project communication.

Where a form separately offers consent to receive text messages, the disclosure at that form controls the scope of the consent. This Privacy Policy by itself is not consent to receive marketing texts. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing roofing services. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. You may opt out by replying STOP or request assistance by replying HELP, where those instructions are provided with the texting program.

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the link included in the message or by contacting us. Even after opting out of marketing, we may send non-promotional communications related to a request, appointment, transaction or project.

8. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to inquiries, administering estimates or services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes, protecting the website and complying with legal obligations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the relationship with the individual, operational needs and applicable law. When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete it, de-identify it or retain it in a form that no longer identifies an individual. Third-party providers may apply their own retention practices.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. The appropriate safeguards depend on the nature of the information and the systems used to process it.

No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care when deciding what information to submit online, and contact us directly when the information is sensitive or requires a secure delivery method.

10. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, a portable copy, information about disclosures, or an opt out from certain targeted advertising, sale or sharing activities. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.

To submit a privacy request, email ryan@crosstownroofs.com with the subject line Privacy Request, or call 561-221-2980. Describe the request and the information or interaction it concerns.

We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If an authorized agent submits a request, we may ask for proof of authorization and may also verify the request directly with the individual. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain when an exception prevents us from completing all or part of a request.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising an applicable privacy right.

11. Children's Privacy

The website and roofing services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so the situation can be reviewed and the information deleted where appropriate.

13. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when website features, service providers, business practices or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through another reasonable method when required.
